Chris Roberts – Lead Pastor (chris@epcmwc.org)
Chris has been the lead pastor of EastPoint Church since it began in September of 2006. He is a graduate of Oklahoma Baptist University (B.A. in Applied Ministry with a minor in Family Counseling) and Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary (Master of Divinity with a concentration in Biblical Languages). He has been married to his wife Johna since 1993 and they have been blessed with three sons and two daughters. Chris’ driving passion is to point people to Jesus. Chris and Johna’s desire is to see the Gospel of Jesus Christ equip and strengthen families, leading them to a life-changing relationship with Jesus Christ. In his spare time, Chris loves spending time with his family, playing guitar in his band, riding bikes, hiking mountains, playing most sports, and drinking coffee.
Bennie Kendrick – Associate Pastor (bennie@epcmwc.org)
Bennie has served at EastPoint since 2006, though he took a detour to serve in Arkansas from 2013-2015. He graduated from the University of Central Oklahoma in 2003 with a Bachelor of Music. He serves in a bi-vocational capacity, dividing his time between his family, his low-voltage business, and serving the church. Bennie has been married to his wife, Jamie, since 2002, and is blessed with 2 wonderful, adorable, exhausting, rambunctious boys. He loves books, coffee, nature, research, projects, movies, and travel.
Josh Sweet – Associate Pastor (josh@epcmwc.org)
Josh Sweet has been an associate pastor at EastPoint Church since it began. Josh is a graduate of Oklahoma Baptist University with a degree in Applied Ministry. Married to Kristen Sweet in 2005, he has two daughters and one son. He believes our families have a unique opportunity to shine the light of Christ to a world that is bent toward sin. In his spare time, he enjoys playing games with his family, everything outdoors and sports.
Gabriel Lyons – Student Pastor (gabriel@epcmwc.org)
Gabriel has been a part of EastPoint Church since it began. He became the student pastor in 2013. Gabriel is a graduate of the University of Oklahoma with a Bachelors in Science nursing in 2013. He serves in a bi-vocational role as a full time ICU nurse as well as working with the students. He has been married to his wife Stephanie since May 2010. He and Stephanie have a passion to help students be equipped for life by teaching them to be completely dependent upon Christ. In his spare time, he loves spending time with his wife, extended family, watching movies, and playing most sports.
